Member of KGW

I have a problem. I met the KGW meeting. What is KGW? It's in polish: "Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich". But, how to translate it into english? Almost literaly: "Farmer's Wife's Cicrle". But, as You can see, the girl doesn't look like a wife. She is too young, while she still can pretend to be 'gospodynią wiejską'.
But maybe her national costume is more important..

  1. It looks like you had some great midsummer festivities with everyone dressed up in national costumes, singing, dancing and feasting!

  3. Very interesting. belong to the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) here in the USA. It is a Medieval reenacr\tment group. Our time period covers the years 500AD - 1601AD and can include any country or culture from what was then the kown world. We practice period arts, sciences, fighting and pretty much anything having to do with the middle ages.
