Two towns...
Buildings on the photo belongs to two towns. The building on the left (Gliwicka Street 312) belongs to Katowice. The building on the right (Armii Krajowej Street) belongs to Chorzów. It's almost usual in Upper Silesia.

La Gazza Ladra
(And music, because I like Gioachino Rossini.)
PS. In fact, I was absent yesterday -- I've climbed on Babia Góra.
On the top.
View to the south (lake Orava).
Babia Góra -- view from Sokolica (it was in the middle of my route).

An old lithograph (2)
And another old lithograph from the middle of 19th century. I've asked myself, what a part of Chorzów is visible on the lithograph. And I thnik, I know. It is a view form Mount Reden (or Liberation Mount -- it is the mount with St Laurentius Church). You can see the King's Steel Work, and I found on the lithograph St. Elisabeth Church -- You can see it below:

Kestrel
This kestrel I found in the Silesian Culture and Recreation Park, near Silesian Stadium. I think, a kestrels nest is located on a tower of The Assumption of Mary Church in Chorzów Batory.

The Assumption of Mary Church: outside
I've presented interior of the Assumption of Mary Church in Chorzów Batory. Today: building visible from the Stefan Batory Street. (Well, it's a problem, I don't know any viewpoint with complete view of the church...) The church was built in the years 1898-1901, and it is 67,6 meters long, 22 meters high, and the tower is 73 meters high.
